Embracing Challenge

One of your days of exploration

gets marked by rain

And you get annoyed for a second

Or maybe a few

Until you find the courage to bring

That acceptance which shatters

the waves of life

It is hard

for even the best of us

But I have gotten better throughout the years

in recognizing the patterns of when

I should embrace moments

but also know when it is better to walk away
