They say it’s harder to be concise. Here is another writing prompt that forced me to focus on three lines.

This past Sunday, I got to read my poetry out loud for the first time! And although I’m confident, compliments and interest are always nice :) 

The lyric "fall in love again and again" is stuck in my head.

Following your heart can be a bit lonely at times.

A little thought about love being intense and love being calm.

One of my favorite times of year is the transition from summer to fall. 

Here is a small thought about that. 

The city is always getting the romantic side of me :D

Cities always create that sense of wonder.

I got inspired by the song "Rockland," where there is a line that goes: "I see you every night in my sleep."

This week, I made a difficult decision that I knew was right for me. Writing about it has been helping me process.

Tomorrow is my 29th birthday, so taking some time to reflect.

It’s hard not to look back sometimes.
