A Tale of Two Worlds
Two worlds collide
One from the East
The Other from the West
One of them starts to speak
The other bates its breath
“Have you seen my good friend?”
“The luminous body standing above?”
“I am afraid not.”
“Have you seen my lovely friend?”
“A glittering star flying over our heads?”
“I am afraid not.”
A choice lies
Between the two faces
Feeling the space
My hearts aches
Why is it?
No matter what I see
The other never sees it?
Should I travel to the unknown
And hope to run into the familiar?
Or should I stay in the familiar
And explore the unknown?
Hoping it does not go the same way
I do not know
I simply do not know
I want our worlds to collide and mesh
Easily and breezily
But I know that is not the case
And it will take lots of work
Work for the story
Work for the tale
So one day, they will stand in awe
of the folklore of it all.
