Bridging the gap

gaps are everywhere.

in the cobblestone road

between our land

and amongst our thoughts

Bridging these gaps is no easy feat

But instead of letting these gaps control us

We can slowly inch forward to build something

that requires not only our expertise

but of those who seem so separate

because they are not so separate

and I hope we can learn

to bridge these gaps together
