Feeling little
Have you ever felt little?
I know that I have
Not little in age
Or in size
But little in significance
So when I stood up in the forest
From the bathtub
from the mirrored air
I felt dizzy
Like the world was too much
And somehow that made me too little
and while that may be true
I am one
And there are a million
No one has faced their demons
Their fears
The world’s best-kept souvenirs
Like you
And what a wonderful thought that is
Not to sleep but
To lie awake to
